How To Give AtomWP Access To Your Site
So you want a fast website? AtomWP needs “Admin” access to your site in order to clone, optimize, host, and maintain your website. That way we can keep your website lightning fast!
Adding a WordPress Admin
To create a new WordPress admin, go to your WordPress Dashboard.
If you have not set it up differently, you can typically access the dashboard by going to your homepage, and then in the website address bar at the top of your browser, adding “/wp-admin” after your url. www.example.com/wp-admin
Once you are on your Dashboard, select the Users tab on your Dashboard sidebar. This should lead you to a page with an “Add new” option at the top. Selecting this results in a form with similar fields to fill out.
Be sure to fill out the username with atomwp and email with firstname.lastname@example.org as these fields are required. You will need to also choose “Administrator” from the dropdown list next to Role. WordPress admin will auto generate a password for this new account, and send it to the provided email.
